Sulley Muntari- People will be in trouble if I reveal what happened in Brazil

Ghana international Sulley Muntari has made claims that there were a lot of issues regarding Ghana’s shambolic display in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil than what was made public.

The 32-year old was thrown out of the camp of the Black Stars after he assaulted a management member over the delay in the payment of appearance fees.

Muntari has since not been invited to the team, despite having apologized for his behavior.

The former Inter and AC Milan midfielder, after three year claims that there are so many untold stories about the incidents surrounding Ghana’s participation in Brazil and he won’t disclose them because a lot of people would be in trouble if they are brought to public notice.

Asked if he thinks he has been treated unfairly, Muntari said: “from day one when the issues came up and we returned from Brazil, there were a lot of people talking really bad things like I did this and I did that”.

“But it is all past now because I didn’t say anything at the time and I don’t want to say anything now. If I open my mouth to say something, people will get in trouble, a lot, trust me. I know a lot but it’s all in the past and we want Ghana to move forward.”

Muntari has played in three FIFA World Cups for Ghana since 2006 and has also played at the various national youth teams over the years.
